In addition to the fundamental principle of the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement), we are also committed to the 4th R: Responsibility. All staff at Hamamatsu Laboratory are thoroughly engaged in humane care and use of laboratory animals. Our staff are responsible not only in meeting day-to-day standards but are always seeking improve animal welfare standards.
